Two Ways to Work

  1. Direct ShortcutsOne keystroke, instant result.

Common window moves — left half, right half, top half, bottom half, center, maximize, and move between displays — each with a single shortcut. No panel, no delay.

  2. Visual PanelsOpen a panel, pick a zone.

Halves, quarters, thirds, and sixths layouts. Each zone shows its key hint. Press a letter, use the arrow keys, or click. You do not need to memorize every command.

  3. Landscape & Portrait AwareLayouts adapt to your display.

Thirds and sixths panels automatically adjust their grid orientation based on whether your display is landscape or portrait. No manual configuration needed.

  4. Multi-Display SupportChoose the target display from the panel.

View your display arrangement directly inside any panel. Use number keys or Space to switch the target display, then place your window exactly where you want it.

  5. Custom ShortcutsRebind or disable any shortcut.

Every shortcut can be rebound to your preference. Disable individual shortcuts or manage them by group to avoid conflicts with development tools, design software, or other apps.

02 · Principles

Why KeyTiler

  1. 1 Keyboard-FirstDirect shortcuts handle your daily window moves. When you need a layout you use less often, open a panel — every zone shows its key, so you can press without looking it up.
  2. 2 Private by DefaultKeyTiler runs entirely on your Mac. No analytics, no data collection, no network requests. The accessibility permission is used only to read and move the active window. Purchases go through Apple StoreKit.
  3. 3 Adapts to Your SetupThirds and sixths panels automatically detect display orientation — landscape grids for horizontal screens, portrait grids for vertical ones. Switch target displays from within any panel with a number key.
  4. 4 Gradual DiscoveryStart with the direct shortcuts you need every day. Open panels when you want finer placement. Layout labels and key hints let you discover features at your own pace — no upfront memorization.
